Sales Ledger Clerk

Sales Ledger Clerk required for a business who has experienced steady growth and continues to do so.  As a result of making improvements to business processes and thus support the increase in revenue, a Sales Ledger Clerk is required to deal with the processing of sales invoices.

The role will specialise in Sales Ledger, and will be responsible for raising a high volume of sales invoices with varying degrees of complexity.  Some clients have consolidated invoices, others are more straight forward.  As a global business, a good eye for detail is essential to ensure correct currency and VAT element is treated accurately.

The role will be responsible for;

  • Raising approx. 200 sales invoices per week
  • Ensuring the correct country currency and VAT treatment is applied
  • Regular reporting to customers and cargo airlines
  • Data manipulation on Excel with large volumes of data
  • Dealing with queries (customers could be anywhere in the world)
  • Checking the detail of contracts

  • Relevant Accounts experience, specifically of Sales Ledger
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, team focussed attitude
  • Strong Excel skills, confidence to manipulate large data sets for reporting purposes
