A large manufacturing business in Rochester are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team on a temporary basis. 

As part of a friendly team, in a buzzing environment with a fast-paced work load, you will not get bored. 

Detailed duties include;

  • Checking purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
  • Distribute purchase invoices for approval
  • Post invoices to finance system/matching to purchase order or nominal code
  • Producing remittance advices
  • Processing payments
  • Dealing with queries/problem solving
  • Checking BACS run ensuring suppliers are paid the correct amount
  • Ad-hoc Purchase Ledger project work for a wide variety of suppliers

In terms of experience, we need from you;

  • Relevant experience gained within a Purchase Ledger role
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Team player
  • Numerate
  • Willing to get stuck-in
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
