A large Industry leading business in West Kent are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team. 

As part of a friendly team, in a buzzing environment with a fast paced, high volume work load you will not get bored.  You will need to be proactive with good troubleshooting skills as you will assist the merging of ledgers following recent acquisitions.

Detailed duties include;

  • Distribute purchase invoices for approval
  • Post large volumes of invoices to finance system/matching to purchase order or nominal code
  • Producing remittance advices
  • Processing payments
  • Dealing with queries/problem solving
  • Checking BACS run ensuring suppliers are paid the correct amount
  • Ad-hoc Purchase Ledger project work for a wide variety of suppliers

In terms of experience, we need from you;

  • Relevant experience gained within a Purchase Ledger role
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Team player
  • Numerate
  • Willing to get stuck-in
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
