Fantastic opportunity to join a lovely independent business who are thriving in Canterbury.  The PART TIME Accounts Assistant is a great role as it encompasses both Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, bank reconciliations, taking full ownership of the processes.  It is a part time role, requiring 3 full days, 8am – 5pm (whichever 3 days suit you). 

 

Detailed duties include; 

  • Purchase Ledger invoice processing, ensuring invoices are received, approved and processed 

  • Supplier statement reconciliation 

  • Dealing with suppliers and resolving queries 

  • All month end tasks in relation to purchase ledger and also being the point of contact for the Auditors 

  • Sales Ledger invoice processing 

  • Allocating payments 

  • Credit Control for outstanding debt 

  • Relationship management with customers with regards to their transactions 

  • Ensure payments are processed accurately and in a timely fashion 

  • Bank statement reconciliation 

You will require:  

  • Relevant experience of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, bank recs 

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)  

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
