Our client works closely with the NHS, Kent County Council and various charities. They support people with long term health conditions, disabilities and mental health support requirements. They are currently looking for a Junior Accounts Assistant to help with the increased workload within the accounting team due to several new projects within the business.

The Junior Accounts Assistant will be working full time within the accounts team, providing support as required. You’ll find yourself being involved in a bit of everything, learning new skills and expanding on existing knowledge. There will also be occasional opportunities to travel to other places throughout the year.

The role will cover;

  • Payroll
  • Expense claims
  • Purchase ledger management
  • Sales ledger management
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Sending wage slips and pay advices
  • Scanning and archiving documents
  • Assisting with holiday/sickness forms

Excellent computer skills are a must have, experience with both Excel and Sage would be an advantage although not essential as training will be provided. This role would suit a bright, enthusiastic individual who’s recently left school and is looking for that ‘foot in the door’ opportunity to break through into an exciting and rewarding career in accountancy.
