Credit Controller

Credit Controller required for a specialist Consultancy business in Rochester.  This is a new role, initially on a 6 – 9 month contract basis, with the possibility of a permanent contract.  The organisation has grown dramatically, led by an entrepreneurial Director whose strategy is to ‘buy and build’ the business.  Following the acquisition of another company, the increase in revenue and therefore debtors means there is a requirement for an exceptional Credit Controller to join the team to reduce the level of debt owed to the business.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Credit Control, collection of unpaid invoices, in particular by telephone
  • Allocating cash, including banking cheques
  • Maintaining Sales Ledger
  • Dealing with queries, raising credit notes
  • Review/implement procedures to promote more efficient processes
